PUR Premium
First of all, thank you for contacting us! You can call us during regular business hours at +49 6233 511944-0 , send an email to info@pur-premium.com , or use the form directly.
PUR Premium develops and supplies high-performance products in the areas of chemicals, surface cleaning, protection, care, and value preservation. 99% of PUR products are developed, manufactured, and produced in Germany.
PUR Classic
If you see a slight haze, you've done everything right! This is the protection, and it will be polished as described in the instructions. However, dirt residue may smear from the frame. Please check again carefully. If this is the case, spray both lenses and carefully distribute the product evenly into the frame. After a short contact time, rinse with clean water to remove any remaining dirt. To maintain the protective effect, you must now reapply PUR as described in the instructions.
Depending on the lens material, this can actually occur due to the special coatings. With some materials, the lens will fog up briefly, but after a few seconds, your vision will clear again. Please read the instructions carefully again and pay attention to your choice of cloth. We recommend simply treating one side to see the immediate difference. If there is no improvement, contact us.
Yes, but don't spray directly onto electrical devices. Apply a maximum of 1-2 sprays onto a suitable cloth and then apply. If streaks appear, buff the protection with the dry side.
You don't have to constantly reapply the protection; for minor dirt, gently polishing with a dry cloth is often enough.
2-ply cosmetic tissues, as these are not as absorbent (recommendation: Ebelin from dm-Drogeriemarkt).
PUR Polish
Dried bird droppings or similar: Dab on PUR Polish and let it work. Depending on the level of dirt, leave it on for about 30-60 seconds, then gently attempt to remove it.
Yes, that's it! With matte films, test on a small corner first. Also, please note that matte surfaces should only be treated by hand. This is because applying them with a polishing machine results in high speed/rotation, which in turn causes more abrasion. Only a professional can do this. 99% of matte surfaces can be treated with this method without any problems.
If you can feel the scratches with your fingernail, PUR Polish won't remove them. Because not all scratches are created equal, you can, however, remove the typical car wash scratches (micro-scratches, swirls) by hand or with an orbital polisher.
To remove deeper scratches, our car detailers/customers from Koch-Chemie recommend the HEAVY CUT 8.02 coarse grinding paste.
